             Sorry guys that I haven't updated well I've been pretty busy helping some of my friends with their xangas and I'm gonna help one out rite now! lol soo many helpings soo jus ask me!!! o yeah i changed the layout i think this one looks more professional lol well my glitters don't match soo w/e I'll do dat l8r.              ***When you have more than one code in your Custom Header/Webstats make sure to leave 15 lines between each code so it's easy for you to delete the code or to remember which code is which so you won't get confused. ^~^ ***

            ***If your going to have a xanga atleast update every 4-7 days!!! Or else people will start not to come to your xanga and you'll never have comments! So please update that's what keeps your xanga alive!!!***

Q:: How do I post messages on my xanga like you did on yours? A:: It's really easy. First look on your xanga for a "New Weblog Entry" button it should be located in the middle of your xanga. Now press the "New Weblog Entry" button and than type in what ever you want to say and use the toolbar to change font, change color, indent, use smileys, etc. Than press the "Sumbit" button and that's it. 

Q:: How do I edit/delete  my entry?
A:: To do that you must go to the entry you want to change on your xanga and press the "Edit It" button it should be next to the "Add Comment" button. Once you there you can edit your entry or delete by pressing the "Delete" button located on the lower right hand corner.

Q::How do I add comments on other people's xanga entries?
A:: Okay to comment on other people's xanga entries you have to go to the entry you want to comment to and right under where the comment ends there should be four buttons (ex: 12:09 - Add Eprops - Add Comments - Email it) press add comments and than when you get to a new page there should be the entry and a box under where you can type stuff in. Type whatever you want bout the entry and than press "Submit"

Q:: Can I delete comments on my entries?
A:: Yes, you have to go press the "Add Comments" button on your entry and than pick whatever comment you want to delete and there should be a "Delete" button on their comment.

Q:: Can I delete MY comments on other peoples xanga entries?
A:: Nope so make sure you don't comment about really private stuff you want only that specific knowing.

Q:: What are Epops?
A:: Eprops are like a ranking for an entry.

Q:: How can I give people Eprops?
A:: You can do that by going to someones entry and press the "Add Comments" button and right before you press the "Submit" button pick whether you're giving them 2, 1, or just 0 eprops. Their located right above the comment box.

Q:: Can I give myself Eprops?
A:: No and if you try xanga will show 0 epropz from you.

Q:: How do I put a link on my xanga?
A:: Okay it's just like you do regularly like copy & paste a website address on your entry.

Q:: How do I rename my link to something else?
A:: Okay this is much different then just copy & pasteing it on your entry. First regularly type whatever you want the link to be named on your entry and than highlight it by left clicking over it. Than while it's highlighted press the link button on your toolbar on your upper right hand corner. Than add the web address and thats it. 

Q:: Can I change my Screen Name?
A:: Unfortunately no. But you can make another xanga or shut it down. Or you can get a code from a code xanga whcih will let you change your screename on DISPLAY ONLY! But your real one is the one you signed up with.

Q:: How do I shut down my xanga?
A:: Okay go to your "Account Info" button on your upper left hand corner (It should be in that long box). Once you press a new web page will show up telling about your account. On you left, there should be a box titled "Account Settings" in it should be a "Shut Down" button and than press and than xanga will ask you if your sure and yor password.

Q:: Should I upgrade my xanga to PREMIUM?
A:: If your interested in it than okay, but your going to have to pay for it so be sure if you want.  

Q:: What are subscriptions?
A:: Subscription are like when you become buddies with someone else who has a xanga, too. There is also a suscription list showing all the people who you suscribed to. And whenever your buddy post a new entry, xanga will send you an e-mail showing you they newest entries.

Q:: How do I subscribe to someone? 
A:: Well where their subscription list is (located: Below their info) On the very top of it there should be a "Suscribe to Username" button and than xanga will ask if you want to suscribe than you press I Accept. Make sure you don't get mixed up with the "Get Trial Subscription"  button cause it's way different cause the person you want to subscribe to won't be on your Subscription list.

Q:: My friend suscribed to me, but my username won't show up on their subcription list. Did I do something wrong? or the question can be the other way around.
A:: Okay if this happens than just subscribe to him or her and you username will show up. It's that easy. ^-^ 

Q:: How do I stop getting e-mails from xanga showing my friends newest entries?
A:: Okay just by going to "Feedback Log" it should be located somewhere above your subscription list. Okay once you press that go to "E-mail Update Options" on the box that's titled "Feedback Log". Now that your there press the circle that says "No" for "Feedback Log: Get e-mail updates from your Xanga Feedback Log" If your having troble than click and than that link should send you directly to the "E-mail Updates" page.

Q:: What are Blogrings?
A:: Blogrings are like a community or group of people who have xangas that joined that group. These groups are all different subjects. Also, blogrings are a great opportunity to meet other people with the same intertest that you have. And best of all their free! You can join upto 8 blogrings.

Q:: Can I create my own blogring?
A:: Just go to the blogring page and than press the "Create" button. Than once your on a new web page than pick a category you want your created blogring to be. After that just follow the instructions than you've got your very own blogring. Now just advertise it to your friends.

Q:: Can I only allow some people to join my own blogring?
A:: Yes, since your the leader of the blogring than just go on your blogring than on your left side of your blogring page. There should be a a "Settings" box and in it there should be a "Approval" button press it. Now that a new web page is up there should be a setting named  "Members:  Automatically approve new members" the default is "Yes" so just change it to "No".

Q:: How do I join a Blogring?
A:: Okay just go to the blogring page if you can't find it than click. And than press on you the category you want to go in. Than pick a sub-category. Than pick whatever blogring you want.

Q:: What is a URL?
A:: That's simple a URL is just a web address. (ex: http://www.xanga.com/azn_tutor_1993)

Q:: What's a HTML?
A:: It's kind of hard to explain. It's like a code for your xanga or any other blog. Sorry I just call them codes.

Q:: How do I make my xanga look nice?
A:: Oh! There are many ways. You can put a layout on your xanga, put a icon on your xanga, add a different cursor, add music, add codes, and put glitters on you xanga.

Q:: Where can I get all that?
A:: In order to get to those you've got to find a other people who have xangas that gives you these. I recommend you go to this site the xangas are rated from numbers 1-7100. So go here.

                                                         Layouts

Q:: Okay hold on, what's a layout?
A:: A layout is a background for your xanga. Like the one I've got on my xanga. Without layouts your xanga would be very, very, VERY boring.

Q:: Okay how do I veiw a layout?
A:: Well. Okay. On the layout xanga there should be categories telling you the title of a layout if one title catches your eye than just press the title it should link you to what the layout looks like. (Example:  http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=kkx_318 this layout was made by ll_myxanimexlayouts_ll)

Q:: Okay I found a layout I want, How do I get that layout to my xanga?
A:: Alright follow the steps to veiw the layout. Once your there there should be a post of a code. Now HIGHLIGHT the code and copy it by right clicking the HIGHLIGHTED code and press copy. Now go back to your xanga and go to the "Look and Feel" button located in your info. If you can't find it just use the direct link--->   http://www.xanga.com/CLAF/default.asp. Now go to the box that's titled "Custom Header" now paste the code of the layout into the "Custom Header". Than scroll down and press the "Save Changes" button and then a new web page will show up and press the "Back to Your Xanga Site" and you've got your layout!!!

Q:: What happens if I found a better layout for my xanga?
A:: Oh that's simple just delete your previous layout code and paste your new layout code in your "Custom Header".

Q:: My layout doesn't show like my username or my info, what did I do wrong?
A:: Nothing just some layouts require you to do that stuff. Just go to the layout code in your "Look and Feel" section. Any thing that you see in the layout code that's capitlized is probably telling you to put your username there or something else concerning your info. (ex: PUT USERNAME HERE)

Q: I keep hearing about different Styles of layouts, what are they?
A: Okay Style 1 is usually a regular layout(which is a good layout style for beginners), Style 2 is usually Custom Module layouts(these are people who understand HTML/codes very well, even I had trouble!), Style 3 is Box Around xanga layout, and Style 4 is Box around xanga layouts.

Q: Okay I'm pretty good with HTML codes, but I'm having trouble with putting scrollbars on my custom module layout's profile, friends, and custom module and anything module on the left side of the layout. How do I get the scrollbar on (This is what I had trouble with!)?

A: Okay your need alot of knowledge about html even I had some trouble! You need a custom module layout cause that's what I use for this xanga. And for the pop-ups just go to any code xanga and get it from there. By the way this xanga wusn't easy making. =__= if you planning to make a really nice looking xanga you need a huge knowledge bout html.

Q: How come when I post an entry only half of it shows?
A: It's because it was to long because of your layout. Don't change your layout just go to a regular code xanga and find a code called "Scrollbars for Entries" that code will put a scrollbar for ALL you entries that are too long. 

Q:: What's a Jocker?
A:: A jocker is a person who can't make layouts and steal someones elses layouts but copying their layout codes and claiming that it's their work. So DON'T EVER JOCK!!! 

                                                           Music

Q:: How do I put music on my xanga?
A:: Okay first find a music xanga. Pick a song that you like that you'd want to be on your xanga. Okay the song you want should be a link so click on it. The reason for clicking on the song is that to see if the song comes up because there are songs on music xangas that don't work. If the don't work than tell the owner of the xanga bout this problem. If it does work than right click on the song link and press "Copy Shortcut". Now go back to your xanga and go to "Look and Feel" now scroll down to where it says "Music". Now paste your "Copy Shortcut" into the music box. Make sure to take out "http:// " out before pasting your "Copy Shortcut". Now save changes and your finished. Q:: Can I put more than one songs on my xanga?
A:: Yes there are many ways to. You can put a music playist code or put a refersh song code.

Q:  Where did you get the code for your music player?  The codes I've found won't allow any more than three songs to actually play.  You can add them to the code like everything else, but it just won't work.  Any help?  asked by skiingwithpeguins
A: Okay fi your playist code gives you a limited amount of songs than just copy <option value="0">SONG TITLE HERE</option> and paste it at the very end the song names ***make sure to put in the number after your last number (ex: last number is 8 than put the newly pasted song title code as 9)*** And now copy songs [0]="SONG URL HERE" and paste it at the end of your last song url just like you did with the song title and MAKE sure your put in the right number as the song title or else it won't work.  

Q:: What's a cursor?
A:: A cursor is that arrow/mouse thing on your screen that points stuff. lol.

Q:: Can I have a decorative cursor?
A:: Of course you can! Just go to a cursor xanga and than copy the code of the cursor which is either under the cursor sample or to the right of the cursor sample. And than paste it into your "Webstats" which is the last box on your "Look and Feel" section.

Q:: My cursor keeps flicking on and off ever since I got a new cursor, why is this happening?
A:: It's either you didn't delete the code for the previous cursor and you added another cursor code so just delete your old cursor code.

                                        Profile Pictures and Icons

Q:: How do I get a profile picture on my xanga?
A:: Oh! Just go to "Public Profile" and than go to "Profile Pics" it should be located in the box titled "Your Xanga Profile". Than press the "Click Here to Upload a Profile Picture" than click the "Browse" Button and than browse for the pic you'd like and than press "Upload Picture". And than your done!!! If you can't find it than click the link http://premium.xanga.com/private/profileupload.aspx.

Q:: How many Profile Pics can I have upto with Xanga Premium?
A:: You can only get upto three if you've got the free version of Xanga.

Q:: Okay I got more than one profile pic uploaded, but what if I want a different profile pic to show.
A:: Just press the "No" button on whatever picture you want to be shown on your xanga and they'll ask if you want if to be you default pic and you say yes.

Q:: Okay I uploaded three pics already, but I want to upload more and I only have Xanga Classic (free), What can I do?
A:: Okay you can delete one of your pics out the three and upload a new one.

Q:: What's an Icon?
A:: An Icon is just an ICON that you can put as your profile pic.

Q:: How do I get an Icon?
A:: Just like everything else you got to go to a Icon xanga. And once you found a icon you like than right click it and than press "Save Picture As" into your computor. Now go back to your xanga and go to here. And browse for the icon and just upload and set as default profile pic.

                                                          Codes

Q:: What are codes?
A:: We're back to this subject. There are such things as Code Xangas and they provide codes for security, music, images, and other stuff to make your xanga more customized.

Q:: How do I put codes onto my xanga?
A:: Just like any other code you got to put it into the "Webstats" by copying it, unless they tell you to paste it onto something else.

                                                          Glitters

Q:: What are glitters?
A:: Glitters are like a design that you can put on your xanga. Most of the time glitters are used for titles so your xanga looks fancy.

Q:: How do I put glitters on my xanga?
A:: Go to a Glitters Xanga and pick whatever glitter you want and than press on a link to the glitter and than there should be a sample of the glitter and than right click on it than press "Save Picture As" now once you save it. Go back to your xanga and when you post an entry just paste the glitter in by pressing paint or by pressing the "pic" button on your upper right hand corner.
